This course focuses on speed and awareness of the possible consequences of speeding combined with general On Road Awareness and Advanced Driving Techniques.
Research has shown that speed is a major contributory factor in about one third of all road accidents. Driving too fast was the main cause of 1,200 deaths and more than 20,000 serious injuries on built up roads in the UK last year. Statistics show the main cause of road crashes is a combination of inappropriate speed with some form of human error. Speeding is bad driving.
Drivers who have been driving for a number of years and have received no further professional driver training since passing the initial test.
